You could ask the same question today with all the different churches teaching different doctrines. Then there's the Democratic Party - abortion, sodomy, feminism and minorities. | Comments : | Have lived in the Ashley area all my life and saw someone wanting to know where the Berlin Babtist Church was. It is about 20 miles northeast of Ashley. The address is probably Fredonia, ND. They still have church there and I'm sure the cemetery is kept up if you would care to visit. | Comments : | I JUST WANTED TO WRITE AND SAY WHAT A WONDERFUL TOWN ASHLEY IS. ME AND MY FATHER BOUGHT A TRAILER IN ASHLEY LATE LAST SPRING (FROM STRAWBERRY). EVERYONE IN THE TOWN HAS BEEN SO NICE AND FRIENDLY. THE SERVICE THAT YOU RECIEVE FROM YOUR AREA BUSINESS IS OUTSTANDING. I HAVE NEVER SEEN PEOPLE SO EAGER TO PLEASE AND MAKE YOU FEEL AT HOME. MY BETTER HALF RON SPENT 5 DAYS IN THE HOSPITAL ON ONE OF OUR VISIT THERE. THEY TOOK SUCH GREAT CARE OF HIM - THAT WE EVEN CAME BACK FROM WISC. FOR HIS FOLLOW UP APPT. YOU SHOULD BE VERY PROUD OF THIS FACILITY- YOU DON'T FIND THAT CARE IN TO MANY PLACES ANYMORE. WE HUNTED A FEW TIMES THIS FALL FOR SNOW AND CANADIAN GEESE- WHAT FUN. THE TIME SPENT HUNTING WITH MY FATHER WHO IS 71 IS PRICELESS AND I APPRECIATE ALL OF YOU THAT ALLOWED US TO HUNT ON YOUR LAND.-LEON PIATZ- THE NEU'S- TIM ROTT- I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT WINTER - STAY SAFE AND WARM AND SEE YOU IN THE SPRING WHEN THE GEESE FLY. |

| Comments : | My mother was a Meidinger. Her father was Aaron Meidinger of Miles City, MT. Aaron's father/mother was John and Magdalena Meidinger. John's father was Gottlieb Meidinger that first homesteaded in Mcintosh county,ND. My records show that he passed away in 1921 and was laid to rest in the Berlin Baptist Church Cemetery. Is this church located in Fredonia, ND? I would like to visit the summer of 2008 if possible. Are the Meidingers in your active town related to Gottlieb Meidinger.
